Bristol Balloon Fiesta 2008

The weather started a bit dull and drizzly but that didn't put the modeller's off. Thursday saw a novice pilot Ben take to the air with his new red and sand balloon the whole kit made in 4 weeks.

Thursday night nightglow brought a few communication problem but once sorted the modeller's had a great time.

Friday morning the big balloons tethered due to the high winds and the modeller's flew there balloons in the arena, another novice pilot to joined us was Ray Preston with his 100cumtr balloon.

At the end of the week end the modeller's flew 6 out of the 8 slots which were better than the big balloons. We were sad to see your European friends go home but we captured the moment with a group photo.
